The soul that sees beauty may sometimes walk alone
The soul that sees beauty may sometimes walk alone.
-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
The soul that sees beauty may sometimes walk alone. It has been said by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
The world has given up on beauty. Yet, a soul that sees beauty may sometimes walk alone against the stream, hoping to meet its other half when it reaches its destination.
The world will call you out for your insanity if you see beauty; it is not meant to be. So the soul that sees beauty must hold out for it, through its loneliness and despair, until they reach their destination of finding their other half.
Still, the world may call this soul delusional or abnormal – all because it sees something better that it can hold out for. But I say to you, hold out for that beauty. Walk alone until you grab it. The pain of walking alone against the stream is worth it.
