Anger Management Guide – How to Control Anger 

“Control anger before it controls you”

Be honest, open and direct with yourself about what and why you are angry. If you haven’t said it, ask yourself, “If I never once said to myself ‘I’m so disappointed in myself, that I’m going to get mad when I don’t win, and because I know I’m losing, I’m going to turn it around and give it another shot, would I feel much better?” If the answer is “no” then be honest about it and let it go.

Go on with your life, and give yourself enough time to heal from it. Never give in to anger.

What is Anger?

Anger is a very powerful feeling that can happen when you are frustrated, hurt, annoyed, or disappointed with someone else. It is also a feeling that happens during conflict with people you don’t know well.

When your anger is strong, you feel frustrated and upset. Your sadness is accompanied by an anxiety. Anger is also sometimes used to achieve some personal gain like how we express ourselves  can open the door to mutual respect.

What is anger management?

Many people think anger management is about learning to suppress your anger. By the way, it’s also not good that never become anger. Here, I want to say this that sometimes it’s good to throughout what’s inside you. Anger management isn’t to suppress feelings of anger, but rather to understand the message behind the emotion
and express it in a healthy way without losing control.

Yes, anger management is about learning how to deal with anger. Anger is more common than you think. It’s more prevalent than you think. Here are 10 Anger management tips:

1. Breath deeply:

Breathe deeply, from your diaphragm; breathing from your chest won’t relax you. When you taking a breath to try to stop your anger thoughts, have some positive self-talk and repeat the phrase like “stay calm“it’s ok”. Practise it regularly if you feel frustrated always. It will help you to reduce the stress.

2. Express your anger: 

Although expressing anger is better than keeping it in. Express your frustration in an assertive but no-confrontational way. Use mature dialogue to ease your temper rather saying something foolish to others. Express your feeling clearly do not use the way of shouting.

3. Practice good listening skill: 

The Communication must have both parts listening or speaking. A useful communication exercise is an easy way to control your thoughts. Listening can help improve communication and can build trusting feelings between people. This trust can help you deal with potentially hostile emotions.

4. Avoid using drugs and drinking:

Alcohol, make you less unable to handle your frustration.  It will make you more prone to visual-self-reward — you will be more likely to get back down the road and get hit with the camera again. It will reduce your capacity to reflect on what you might have missed. You’ll have the urge to drive more recklessly. That is, it’ll encourage you to have the urge to drive more recklessly.  And then the other thing that’ll happen is, when you go to get another glass of water

5. Get some exercise:

Stress can also be a cause or your short temper. Exercise is the best, way to remove stress. Physical activity can help you to reduce stress. When you feel that your anger escalating just do some physical activity. Exercises are a healthier way to reduce weight, maintain your body and make you relax in your mind.
Exercise can also improve your immune system. Exercise not only brings you to a healthy mind, but also increase your immune system. You get better protection and boosts your immune system.

6. Sleep: 

Yes! As we all know the seven-hour sleep is much needed for everyone. When you sleep your mind and body feel relax and calm. Sleep will help to build the damaged cells and the neural pathway. Good sleep combat many physical, mental or emotional problems including anger.

Sleep quality affects your whole internal system. The more sleep you get the longer the protein synthesis increases. It was thought that, when you are sleeping, you will have much less strength, higher metabolism, reduce risk of stroke and also lower cholesterol and blood pressure. 7. Yoga:

Yoga is another kind of exercise and this will literally keep your temper in control. When you feel stressed find a place where you feel comfortable. The atmosphere which gives you peace. Yoga on a daily basis helps you to stay calm in many situations. It stimulates the blood circulation and your mind become more active than before.

Stretching will also help you to keep your brain calm. You are required to remove stress in your body as well. This can be done in various ways. You can relax yourself with visualization, breathing exercises or just by simply letting go of the tension in your body. The treatment can also be done to strengthen the muscles in the neck and shoulders. The treatment can also help to keep the mind from getting stuck in stress. This treatment is especially helpful in physical, mental and emotional stress.

8. Walk around:

Depression, anxiety, and stress are different but somehow a part of anger. A depressed and stressed person always feel low. Trust me walking has many advantages. Anything that gets your limbs pumping is good for your mind and body. The Early morning walk is good for health too. It will give you a slow and relaxed start, it is good to eat a good breakfast and have your thoughts.

Right before you start your walk, you have to take out the water bottle and squeeze out some air. This will help you, as it has an effect on your body.

9. Forgiveness

Forgiveness  is a powerful tool. Being resentful or holding a grudge against somebody will increase your anger and make it more difficult to control. We all need to accept that everybody is different and that we cannot control the feelings, beliefs or behaviours of others. Please know that you are not alone in what you feel. There are people out there who are concerned about you. They are sympathetic and available to help you if you need it.

10. Find an escape route:

If you need to leave a stressful situation and are bothered by your friends or family, why not go to a park? Are you taking regular vacations? Don’t stay home. Find a new life where you can be your truest self and make the most of your downtime!
